Southwest Greens Return Goods Policy

To return merchandise to Southwest Greens, please follow the procedure explained below. No returns will be accepted unless this procedure has been utilized.

  1. Before contacting Southwest Greens about a defective product, please make a very thorough investigation of the claimed defect. Our experience has been that many problems can be taken care of before you contact us about a return, which saves MPG and you the customer time and money.

  2. Notify Midwest Greens by phone, fax, or Email of your desire to return any of our products. Please explain in detail your reason for the return.

  3. Midwest Greens will assign your return request an authorization number. Do not return goods prior to receiving an authorization number (RA#). Shipments must be prepaid, and the authorization number must appear on each carton. Shipments must be made within 30 days after RA# assignment. No collect or unauthorized shipment will be received at our dock.

  4. Unauthorized shipments will be returned to the sender freight collect.

  5. Southwest Greens will, if requested by the customer, immediately send replacement goods before we have received the defective products. However, we will bill the customer for those replacements sent. Upon receipt of the defective products, and after we have inspected them and determined that the problem is due to a defect in manufacturing, we will issue a credit. Please remember we may not allow full credit or any credit at all.

  6. If you order something by mistake, or if you change your mind and refuse to accept something you ordered, we will allow you to return the goods for credit. However, you must notify Midwest Greens of your desire to return the merchandise within 30 days of our invoice date. If we receive the material in good condition, and it can be returned to stock with only an inspection on our part, a credit will be issued, less a 25% restocking charge. We will not accept obsolete or damaged merchandise.

Please follow the same procedure as outlined in paragraphs 2 and 3. In addition, please send a copy of our invoice so that the correct credit may be determined.

  7. Southwest Greens cannot be responsible for merchandise damaged or lost in transit. In these instances, it is necessary to file a claim with the freight carrier. If you receive merchandise damaged in transit, call the carrier immediately for an inspection in order to preserve your right to recover. MPG will provide any necessary assistance in filing claims.

Southwest Greens will rely on you to use good judgement in the case of defective merchandise replacements. We do not want to alienate any customer. Please contact us at the following numbers if you have any questions. Thank you.
